About the Role

As Supply Chain Manager Nordics, you have overall responsibility for ensuring efficient processes in production planning, forecasting, purchasing, warehousing, and distribution for the production sites in Malmö and Stockholm. This role is new within the Nordic organization, giving you a unique opportunity to shape ways of working, drive development, and make an impact from day one.

This is a key role where you combine operational work with strategic development. Unlike a purely managerial role, you will actively work with production planning, inventory, and forecasts yourself, playing a central part in daily operations. At the same time, you will drive the development of our working methods and processes to create a more efficient, robust, and future-proof Supply Chain function. We currently have a planning process that works well, but with potential for improvement.

The role involves participation in both local and European projects, where you contribute your expertise to harmonize working methods and implement improvements across organizational boundaries. We are, for example, preparing for the implementation of SAP MRP.

You lead, coach, and develop the Nordic Supply Chain and warehouse team, which consists of a Logistics/Warehouse Manager in Malmö reporting directly to you, and a Logistics Team Leader in Stockholm in the future. You are part of the management group and report to the Head of Supply Chain Europe. The position is based in Malmö.

Main Responsibilities

• Independently work operationally with production planning and reporting to ensure correct capacity and delivery capability.
• Responsible for forecasting work and continuously developing forecasting processes to increase accuracy.
• Actively work with inventory and warehouse monitoring to ensure correct stock levels and high data quality.
• Ensure efficient processes in the procurement of raw materials and packaging materials.
• Plan and coordinate warehouse and distribution activities in the Nordic region.
• Monitor, analyze, and improve KPIs for Supply Chain.
• Contribute to creating long-term sustainable and scalable processes that support business growth.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and cost-saving activities.
• Ensure efficient material flows and well-functioning MRP processes in SAP.

Who are you?

You have a university degree in supply chain with several years of experience in production planning, forecasting, warehouse management, inventory, and purchasing. You are accustomed to continuously developing and improving processes, templates, and routines. We prefer candidates with industrial experience, preferably in FMCG or the food industry.

You are an engaged person with a strong analytical mind. You are a natural and clear leader whom people listen to. You are passionate about development and improvement and have a good ability to switch perspectives between detail and the big picture, current state and more long-term issues. You thrive in a role where you work hands-on and lead through others. You are high-performing, energetic, and flexible. You have the ability to work independently in a changing and complex environment.

You have very good knowledge of the Office suite and Excel, as well as SAP/MRP. Fluent Swedish and English in both speech and writing are required. Experience working in matrix organizations is highly meritorious. For the right person, there may be good opportunities for international development within the group.
