Prison Island is an indoor adventure destination for everyone between the ages of 8 and 99. It is about teamwork and collaboration to solve tricky cell challenges and collect points. There are currently 118 Prison Island facilities in 25 countries and we continue to grow. In 2026, we aim to build around 30 new facilities worldwide.
About the RoleAs an Electronics Developer, you will play a key role in the development of Prison Island's technical platform and future gaming experiences. You are responsible for creating robust and scalable electronic solutions used in our facilities around the world. The role covers the entire development chain, from idea, prototype, and testing to a finished product in operation. You work closely with game developers, mechanical designers, installers, and external manufacturing partners to ensure that the solutions are reliable, cost-effective, and easy to install and maintain.
In this role, you will:
- Develop electronic solutions, circuit boards (PCB), and embedded systems for new and existing products.
- Work with sensors, actuators, microcomputers, and communication solutions.
- Create prototypes, conduct tests, and ensure high reliability in real-world environments.
- Collaborate with external manufacturers and production partners regarding component selection and mass production.
- Contribute to the development of new game concepts and technical solutions together with the rest of the development team.

At the same time, you are structured in your approach and understand the importance of reliable and scalable solutions.
Qualifications
- University education in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in electronics development, prototyping, and mass-produced products.
- Knowledge of sensors, signal processing, and cable sizing.
- Experience with embedded systems or embedded software.
- Proficiency in working with schematics, documentation, and technical drawings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with PCB design.
- Knowledge of power supplies and communication buses.
- Experience with microcomputers, control systems, and LED lighting.
- Experience interacting with manufacturers or electronics producers.
