About the position

Personal assistance is a service under the LSS Act (The Support and Service Act for Certain Disability Groups). In your role as a personal assistant, you will primarily help the customer with everything that arises in daily life as well as with basic needs. Your work involves safeguarding the customer's self-determination and integrity, and contributing to a smooth daily routine. Each assistance assignment is uniquely adapted to the customer's life, so tasks may vary depending on the workplace.

The customer is a 58-year-old man living in Ängelholm who has a muscle disease and diabetes. The customer's individual needs dictate the workday, and the work may include help with mobility, personal care, training and communication, as well as household chores and activities inside and outside the home.

The customer enjoys video games, movies, and music, as well as going on outings and to the cinema.

Who are you?

The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you as the assistant and the customer.

As a person, you need to be positive, motivating, and social.

Requirements for the position:

• Previous experience working in healthcare/care or as a personal assistant.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Good physical condition.
• Tolerance for pets, as there is a cat in the home.
• Non-smoker (during working hours).

Merits for the position:

• Experience working with diabetes.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. Our customer prefers female applicants, but all applications will be considered.

Working hours, employment degree, and salary

The current form of employment is "Hourly Employment," which means work on demand with varying working hours during the day, evening, and night on weekdays and weekends. Working hours are 08:00-15:40, 15:00-21:00, and 20:30-08:40, with 8 hours and 20 minutes of on-call time at night. The schedule may change after the summer.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement, and other benefits are paid according to the collective agreement.

Start date: Immediately or according to agreement.
