Do you enjoy gardening, baking, and spending time in nature? Do you have patience, a sense of humor, and perhaps play an instrument? Are you looking to work as my personal assistant in a temporary position of approximately 50%, which can easily be combined with studies or other projects?

I am a creative guy in my 30s with significant disabilities and illnesses. I live just outside Lund, with good transport links to both Lund and Malmö.

I enjoy being out in nature around Scania, gardening, and watching things grow. I also like baking, swimming, and finding fun things to do in everyday life. Photography and visual arts are also an important part of my life – I have a blog, have held exhibitions, and created photo books.

The role involves assisting me with my personal care and daily life – at home, when I meet friends, and in my various interests.

About you:

You are a responsible, attentive, and present person with calmness, precision, and a positive outlook on life. You are quick to laugh, have a twinkle in your eye, and a curious attitude.

In your work as my assistant, it is important that you can tune in to me and adapt to what I need in the moment. You need to be able to follow a plan, but also be flexible when the situation changes – always with a focus on enabling me to live my life as I wish.

We particularly welcome you who have an interest in, or experience of, pedagogy and communication, as our collaboration is based on close, attentive, and clear interaction.

It is an extra plus if you:

• Enjoy gardening, baking, or being creative together with me in everyday life
• Have an interest in music – perhaps you play an instrument
• Have a pedagogical approach and enjoy finding ways for communication and interaction
• Are curious, want to learn new things, and develop

Important for the position:

• You are non-smoker and smoke-free (no snus)
• You speak and understand Swedish fluently
• You do not have pets at home due to allergies
• A driver's license is desirable as I often take trips in my car

About the position:

The position is a temporary contract of approximately 50% combined with working one weekend per month, as well as the possibility of working extra hours when needed.

Start date is by agreement, and we would appreciate it if you could work during both the autumn and spring terms of 2026–2027, and if you are interested in a longer collaboration, as there are good opportunities for a more permanent and long-term position for the right person.

My assistants usually find it both developing and fun to work with me. The position is perfect to combine with other activities, such as studies, entrepreneurship, or another job. Several of my assistants have, for example, taught yoga, focused on sports, or worked on creative projects alongside.
