At the Swedish Armed Forces Logistics (FMLOG) Supply Unit Central (FörsE Mitt), you will have the opportunity to work on important tasks that contribute to making Sweden and the world a little safer. You will work at the FörsE Mitt unit, which procures, stores, maintains, and disposes of supplies for the Swedish Armed Forces. The logistics must be efficient and ensure high availability of all types of supplies throughout Sweden, meaning that production, planning, and customer support are also important parts of our work.
To the Staff at FörsE Mitt, we are looking for an Infrastructure Case Manager. We offer an exciting fixed-term position with the possibility of extension, where you will get the chance to work on important infrastructure issues. In your role, you will prepare and support needs assessments, coordinate planning, and produce documentation within the area.
You will have close dialogue with colleagues in the unit's various departments as well as with employees within the unit who work on infrastructure issues. Additionally, you will continuously collaborate with other units within the Swedish Armed Forces and external actors operating within infrastructure. As an Infrastructure Case Manager, you are also a staff member in the Staff and may work with other tasks within the Staff's area of responsibility, but primarily in close connection to the infrastructure area.
Examples of tasks:
- Contribute to progress in everything from daily premises issues to more long-term strategic planning.
- Support the preparation of background materials within the infrastructure area.
- Coordinate the unit's infrastructure issues for both short- and long-term solutions.
- Follow up on ongoing and planned projects to ensure continued success.
- Represent the unit in infrastructure issues in dialogues and collaborations with other parts of the Swedish Armed Forces and authorities.
Qualifications
- Construction or property-focused education at university or university college level, or equivalent work experience assessed by the employer as equivalent.
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Category B driving license (manual transmission).
Meritorious
- Experience in project management.
- Experience in premises planning and knowledge of environmental and working environment requirements related to properties.
- Previous experience from the construction or property industry, with knowledge of current regulations.
- Relevant work experience from the Swedish Armed Forces (FM), the Swedish Defence Engineering Agency (FortV), or the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV).
