Do you enjoy physical outdoor work in beautiful environments in all weather? Do you have experience with assembly, construction, infrastructure, agriculture, or similar work? Then this might be for you.

Bergmans Stängsel/Poda Västerås is a newly established organization based between Köping and Västerås. We build all types of fences for farms, estates, villas, and industry. One day we might be on a farm installing posts and wire fencing, and the next day we could be at a country estate putting up a fence to protect the garden from wild boars. We work throughout western Mälardalen.

Building fences is physically demanding and materials are often heavy, so good physical fitness and mobility are essential. You need to be self-sufficient, have a strong work ethic, drive, and the ability to collaborate. You should have a pleasant attitude towards customers and colleagues. You need to be practical and have professional pride so that we can deliver satisfied customers.

Responsibilities:

• Assembly of various types of fences
• Installation of steel and wooden gates
• Simple concrete and carpentry work
• Operating and handling machinery for post driving
• Packing and loading materials
• Some site layout and planning
• Some clearing work

Qualifications:

• Experience with fence assembly, construction, infrastructure, or similar work.
• Ability to handle common hand tools, e.g., screwdrivers, hand saws, spirit levels, chainsaws.
• Experience operating tractors and ATVs.
• Category B driver's license (Category BE is an advantage) and access to your own car to commute to the workplace.
• Ability to understand simple drawings and maps.
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing.

Advantageous:

• Experience with fence assembly.
• Experience with agriculture and machinery.
• Chainsaw certificate A+B.
• Category BE driver's license.
