Do you enjoy working physically outdoors in beautiful environments, regardless of the weather? Do you have experience in assembly, construction, civil engineering, agriculture, or similar fields? Then this might be something for you.

Bergmans Stängsel/Poda Västerås is a newly established organization based between Köping and Västerås. We build all types of fencing for farms, estates, villas, and industry. One day we might be on a farm installing posts and wire fencing, and the next day we could be at a countryside estate putting up a fence to protect the garden from wild boar. We work throughout western Mälardalen.

Building fences is physically demanding and the materials are often heavy, so good physical fitness and mobility are essential. You need to be self-sufficient, have a strong work ethic, drive, and the ability to collaborate. A friendly attitude towards customers and colleagues is important. You should be practical and take pride in your work so that we can deliver satisfied customers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assembly of various types of fencing
• Installation of steel and wooden gates
• Simple concrete and carpentry tasks
• Operating and handling machinery for post driving
• Packing and loading materials
• Planning and site preparation
• Clearing work

Qualifications:

• Experience with fence assembly, construction, civil engineering, or similar work.
• Ability to handle common hand tools, e.g., screwdriver, hand axe, spirit level, chainsaw.
• Experience operating tractors and ATVs.
• Category B driver's license (Category BE is an advantage) and access to your own car to commute to the workplace.
• Ability to read simple drawings and maps.
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing.

Merits:

• Experience in fence assembly.

• Chainsaw certification A+B.
• Category BE driver's license.
