The Social Services Administration in Stockholm City has an overarching and coordinating role for the social services' individual and family care as well as the disability area. Here, good conditions are created to meet residents in need of social services support. In close collaboration with the district administrations, we contribute to a modern, digital, legally secure, equal, and knowledge-based social service with a strong focus on development. Within the administration, a wide range of support measures is offered to the city's residents, and the offerings change based on the needs of Stockholmers and the requests of the district administrations. The work is often carried out in close cooperation with other authorities, civil society, and business life. The Social Services Administration is also responsible for the city's catering and tobacco licenses and conducts supervision.

We are looking for a temporary investigator to work in the team against violence in close relationships, honor-based violence and oppression, and exploitation. One of the colleagues in the team is loaned to another assignment, and we need someone to step in and continue our work. Here, you will have an important role in driving development work and supporting the city's district administrations to work equally, legally securely, and based on knowledge.
The position is part of the Competence Center Adults, where 18 employees and one manager currently work. Of these, 12 work as investigators in the areas of homelessness, violence in close relationships, harmful use and addiction, economic assistance, and crime. We also have employees working with training in MI (Motivational Interviewing), statistics, social services inspection, and Roma inclusion.
The workplace is located in Farsta Centrum, close to the subway and a shopping center with a wide selection of restaurants, cafes, and shops.

Your role
In the role of investigator, your task is to work strategically for equality and coordination within your area of operations. Much of the work is done in collaboration with colleagues at other competence centers in joint assignments, as well as with other administrations, authorities, and actors. You contribute to ensuring legally secure and knowledge-based working methods and serve as a support for managers, employees, and other professionals in the city.
The position involves writing service opinions, monitoring the external environment, developing new guidelines or support materials, participating as an expert, and leading networks, conferences, and training sessions.
Your tasks include among other things:
- Lead city-wide manager networks, organize training, lectures, and workshops.
- Stay updated on the state of knowledge regarding violence in close relationships, honor-based violence and oppression, and exploitation.
- Plan, implement, and follow up on budget assignments.
- Work on development issues together with district administrations, other administrations, organizations, or companies.
- Write and compile service opinions and respond to motions, letters, and consultations.
- Contribute to knowledge-based development in the area.
Your qualifications and experience
We are looking for you who have:
- A degree in Social Work (Social Work degree) or another academic education that the employer considers equivalent.
- Several years of experience from authority enforcement in the area of violence in close relationships and/or adult services.
- Very good knowledge of current legislation and the social services' working methods in the violence area.
- Experience in leading assignments or projects.
- Experience in writing investigations, reports, service opinions, or other professional writings.
- Experience in coordinating and leading meetings, workshops, and conferences.
- Very good knowledge of Swedish, both in speech and writing.
- Experience working in a politically governed organization.
Meritorious:
- Several years of experience from authority enforcement in the children and youth area.
- Knowledge and experience in implementing new working methods and approaches.
