Your responsibilities

As a Pawnbroker at Sefina, you will be an important part of our team. Your main tasks include valuing and lending against valuables (everything from watches to jewelry and art), customer service, sales, and administration. In addition, you work on preparing auctions, conducting inventories, reporting, and participating in development projects.

As a Pawnbroker, you are Sefina's face to the public and meet a large number of customers daily, both in-store and digitally. You are responsible for ensuring that customers' valuables are valued and lent correctly, as well as stored with the utmost care and security.

At Sefina Pawnshop, we always put the customer first and are aware that our customers may be in sensitive situations. Your ability to handle every interaction with discretion and respect is crucial for a good customer experience. As a Pawnbroker, you will help create satisfied customers every day.

We are looking for someone who is

To work with us, you must be over 18 years old and have completed upper secondary education. Since customer service is always in focus, it is important that you have experience working in retail, reception, banking, or similar roles, and are passionate about providing exceptional service. It is a great advantage if you have cash register experience and have worked with the most common valuables found in our stores. However, the most important thing is that you have a strong interest in, for example, gold, jewelry, and watches, and want to learn more.

To quickly get started, good computer skills, experience with the Office suite, and the ability to learn new things are important. You have a good understanding of economics and numbers and are fluent in Swedish and English. Speaking additional languages is a plus.

Important information about the role

This is a general fixed-term position starting as soon as possible and ongoing as needed. In this role, you will support our store in Borås. Working hours are scheduled based on the store's opening hours, and you need to be available to work during the day, evenings, Saturdays, and major holidays.

In this role, you will receive an hourly wage partially based on your experience and competence. In addition, vacation pay is included.
