Do you thrive in a varied role with the opportunity to influence your own daily routine? Do you want to work for a company that offers great camaraderie, professional development, and good working conditions? Then this is for you!

Hydropower accounts for a large part of electricity production in Sweden, and it is very interesting to be part of the development currently taking place in this field. Since One Nordic is well-positioned towards the largest hydropower owners and holds many of the most exciting contracts on the market, we will be able to set the standard for both digital development and sustainability.

We are now looking for an additional Mechanical Assembly Manager for contracts within the hydropower segment for our division in Northern Sweden. We will need more competent employees within the hydropower segment in the future as we make an offensive push and want you on our journey! We are looking for you who have a few years of experience in the assembly industry and want to work on projects throughout Northern Sweden. Offices are located in Sollefteå, Sundsvall, and Östersund, but other locations are also of interest.

Responsibilities

You will work in various configurations within a dynamic team consisting of assemblers, service technicians, engineers, and project managers. The work is very free, varied, and independent with a large technical content. The position involves independently and together with others driving the assembly of mechanical maintenance within hydropower, both large-scale and small-scale hydropower. As an Assembly Manager, you plan and lead large and small project assignments, but also participate actively in the work yourself. The assignment includes significant direct customer contact.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Participate in, lead, and coordinate all on-site activities related to installation, testing, and completion of projects.
  • Execute assignments in a business-like and profitable manner.
  • Support and assist colleagues with knowledge and competence.
  • Support engineers during testing and troubleshooting.
  • Lead overhauls and compile and deliver documentation.

You will either be home-based or based out of one of our established locations, and the position involves travel to other sites.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have several years of work experience and experience handling large assembly projects. You have good knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic equipment with associated auxiliary systems. Since you will be working with assembly work on both Dam, Intake, Turbine, and Generator, we consider experience in these specific areas to be highly meritorious.

At a minimum, you have a completed upper secondary education, preferably in mechanical engineering with a focus on hydropower or equivalent experience. If you also have knowledge of the hydropower process or similar production operations with rotating machinery, as well as experience from the contracting industry, we also consider this meritorious. Previous experience as an Assembly Manager is seen as highly meritorious.

To thrive with us, we believe you are a person who enjoys a leadership role where you and the team take significant responsibility. The work will demand both creativity and flexibility. To achieve our goals, you need to be results-oriented and have good teamwork skills. We value close interaction where open communication is key. In the role of Assembly Manager, it is therefore important that you exercise a present and clear leadership style. A high safety mindset is also a given.

You are computer literate and have experience working with ongoing planning and follow-up.

A valid B-driver's license is a requirement, and you must speak and write Swedish fluently.
