At BAE Systems Hägglunds in Örnsköldsvik, we are heading towards a very exciting future. We are moving towards high production levels, which means our production setups and maintenance needs are developing and strengthening. To meet these needs, we are now looking for four maintenance mechanics/technicians for the machine maintenance department.

Your future challenge

As a maintenance mechanic/technician, you work close to production and are responsible for ensuring high availability of our machines and equipment. The work is varied and includes both preventive and corrective maintenance.

The positions involve staffing within:

• Working hours are primarily scheduled in a 2-shift system with recurring weekend work, meaning work every third weekend and one consecutive week off in the schedule.
• Depending on operational needs, day work with on-call duties may also occur.

Tasks may include, but are not limited to:

• Troubleshooting and repair of machines and equipment
• Preventive maintenance according to established routines
• Emergency interventions during downtime
• Participate in improvement work and optimization of equipment
• Participate in analysis of recurring faults (root cause)
• Documentation of completed work in maintenance systems (CMMS)
• Collaboration with production and other support functions

The person you are

We are looking for you who have a high school or post-secondary technical education, or equivalent experience in practical maintenance work in an industrial environment, preferably within mechanics, hydraulics, or similar areas.

You have a strong interest in technology and enjoy working close to production to ensure high operational reliability. As a person, you are responsible and motivated by solving technical problems. You have a structured approach to work while being flexible and thriving in a daily routine where tasks can vary and quick prioritizations sometimes need to be made.

You appreciate working together with others, contribute to a good team spirit, and are happy to share your knowledge. We also believe that you are curious and have a desire to develop, both in your own professional role and by contributing to improvements in methods and processes.

You have:

• Experience in troubleshooting and repair.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Valid driver's license (Category B).

Meritorious:

• Experience with maintenance systems.
• Knowledge in electrical, pneumatics, or hydraulics.
• Forklift or crane operator license.
