Kubikenborg Aluminium AB is Sweden's only producer of primary aluminium and one of the largest industrial companies in Sundsvall. The factory, built in 1942, has a capacity to produce 130,000 tons of aluminium per year. The end product, delivered in the form of ingots, is supplied to rolling and pressing plants across Europe. Kubal currently employs 460 people.
We are looking for you who are a trained electrician with at least a high school education. Experience or education in process technology, automation, or power engineering is advantageous. We expect you to have a few years of experience in similar roles, preferably from the manufacturing or process industry. You should have experience as an Electrical Safety Manager, Switchboard Supervisor, or Assistant (HSP), as well as experience working with transformers and rectifiers.
You are accustomed to working proactively and have a quality-focused approach. As a person, you are service-oriented, initiative-taking, and flexible. You are driven by self-improvement and company development, and you have strong collaboration skills. Good physical fitness is required as the work may involve working at heights. Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to identify opportunities and improvements are highly valued traits.
Good communication skills in both Swedish and English, in writing and speech, are required.
We expect you to have good computer literacy.
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance work, both preventive and corrective, in a safe and efficient manner. This includes the installation of electrical equipment and repairs throughout the factory area.
- Work with 5S methodology to maintain good order and cleanliness in the work area.
- Perform professional installation of equipment.
- Work in the maintenance system and submit reports according to the work order flow.
- Actively participate in root cause analyses.
- Be part of the company's regular emergency response organization for power.

Reporting: The position reports to the Head of Power.
