Metsä Board Husum is looking for a Mechanic
Are you our new Mechanic?
Metsä Board Husum is a leading manufacturer of fresh-fiber-based pulp and premium carton. Do you want to be part of a large company with skilled colleagues? Then this job might be for you! As a mechanic, you will work in close collaboration with the operations and maintenance departments to ensure high availability of our facilities.
What will your role be with us?
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance
- Troubleshoot equipment
- Manage work orders in the maintenance system
- Participate in maintenance planning
We are looking for someone who
- Is safety-conscious, responsible, and thrives in close collaboration with others.
- Is meticulous and takes initiative while being a good team player.
- Enjoys tinkering, has a technical interest, and thrives in a varied work environment.
Requirements
- 3-year upper secondary education with a relevant specialization
- Computer literacy and technical interest
- Previous experience in mechanics/maintenance/workshop work
- Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written
Qualifications that are an advantage
- Experience with forklift operation and lifting
- Process knowledge and experience with similar maintenance work in an industrial setting are advantageous
