About Me

I am a happy and playful girl living just outside Luleå in Södra Sunderbyn.

I enjoy joking around and want you to find it fun too. I like listening to music, going to the theater and concerts, having coffee in town, or similar activities.

The assistance follows me wherever I am. Your workday starts at home, where you help me get up and with my morning routines. I use a wheelchair and have lifting aids.

Who Are You?

You are social, flexible, and responsible. You are a problem solver who sees opportunities, are resourceful, and attentive to my needs. It requires finesse and a sense of when it is okay to take charge and when to step back. Previous experience with autism is a plus. To communicate effectively, you must speak and write fluent Swedish.

About Your Role as a Personal Assistant

I am now looking for a personal assistant who can work both on fixed shifts and as a temporary replacement. The schedule covers days, evenings, and weekends, involving full 24-hour shifts as well as waiting periods at night according to the schedule. There may also be opportunities for extra shifts during holidays and sick leave.

Routines are important and are written down along with a job description, but some things are determined by my daily condition.

Where is the Assistance Provided?

The assistance is provided wherever I am, and your shift starts and ends where I am, whether at home or out in town.

Who is the Supervisor?

One of the assistants in the assignment is also the supervisor. In daily work, there are job descriptions and routines to follow, and what we do beyond that during the day is determined by my daily condition, wishes, and needs.

The Role of a Personal Assistant

As a personal assistant, you represent Hela Sveriges Assistans.

In the role of a personal assistant, you will complete a web-based training on what it is like to work as a personal assistant.

You will work together with the client and your colleagues to ensure good quality and follow the company's values and policies.

As a personal assistant, you are responsible for reviewing information sent by headquarters and, if necessary, seeking information available on the website. For other questions, contact your supervisor or headquarters.

Your role as a personal assistant includes:

• Always keeping the client in focus.
• Being up to date with the implementation plan, which may be given verbally by the client, or written down on site or in HSA Time.
• Reviewing the job descriptions and routines available on site and following them.
• Documenting and reading documentation according to the routine in the assignment.

As a personal assistant at Hela Sveriges Assistans AB, you are covered by the Almega/Healthcare Employers' collective agreement, including agreed pension, education, and favorable health benefits.

Before we offer employment, you must show an unopened extract/digital mailbox from the police's criminal record. We also require a valid Swedish work permit, such as a passport or an approved work permit from the Swedish Migration Agency.

We train our employees to ensure the quality of personal assistance. All our new employees complete a web-based introductory training for personal assistants before their first work assignment, or no later than one month after the start of employment.
