To our client Siemens Energy, a leading global player in the energy industry, we are now looking for an Operational Buyer for a position at their site in Finspång.

Thanks to high-tech and innovative product development, the company is an established partner in the energy sector, delivering advanced and sustainable solutions for the market's current and future needs.

This assignment offers you the opportunity to work in an international and forward-thinking environment with many possibilities for development.

This is initially a 12-month consultancy assignment via Unik Resurs with very good prospects for extension.

We conduct ongoing selection, which means the assignment may be filled earlier than the final application date.

Tasks and Responsibilities

As an Operational Buyer, you are responsible for orders and deliveries from your global supplier base according to the agreements developed by strategic buyers. You create structure and progress by proactively following up on and handling multiple operational tasks and systems in parallel. It is important that you follow our customers' needs and work focused to ensure deliveries arrive on time. This means you are responsible for communicating deviations in the supply chain, involving many contacts and close collaboration with people both inside and outside the company.

You take the lead in finding and working on improvements within your purchasing area and actively engage in problem-solving, both immediate and long-term. You also contribute to joint development efforts within the department and to our shared work environment. We work together in the office several days a week, with some flexibility for remote work. The work is periodically intense and requires sustained high engagement and flexibility regarding workload.

The Buyer's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Handling purchase orders and invoices
• Delivery monitoring
• Driving and leading supplier meetings for ongoing deliveries
• Supplier development
• Material planning
• Communication and feedback to customers and suppliers
• Process development

Your Profile

• Education in purchasing or logistics (e.g., economics, industrial economics).
• Outgoing, driven, and with good collaboration skills both externally and internally.
• Aware of the importance of on-time deliveries with the right quality.
• Handles stress and high demands for flexibility without losing focus.
• Takes action on deviations as soon as they arise and handles problems in a structured manner.
• Has strong analytical skills – understands and acts on cause and effect in the short and long term.
• Not afraid to question and try new approaches to daily work.
• Views improvement work as a natural part of daily operations.
• Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
