About our open position

As a Specialty Training Doctor (ST-läkare) with us, you are a natural part of the medical team and collaborate closely with other professional groups on the unit. Here, you will work at a local, mid-sized hospital offering both breadth and specialization, meaning you will have the opportunity to maintain and develop competence in many areas. Education and courses are provided both internally and externally within the framework of your specialty training. We offer scheduled supervision time and practice time.

This is a fixed-term position expected to last for 6 months, after which it may, by mutual agreement, be converted into a permanent position.

About us

The Dermatology and Sexual Health Clinic is organizationally part of the Dermatology, Infection, Care Hotel, and Eye Care area. The clinic has approximately 35 employees working together – nursing assistants, nurses, doctors, and administrative staff. Most of our operations are located in Borås, but we also have activities in Skene. Our operations include both surgeries and scheduled clinics. The unit comprises approximately 11 doctors, specialists, and Specialty Training Doctors who work with and for each other. We are a cohesive group with good morale and collegiality, focusing heavily on developing our operations, and together we are a team with broad competence.

We are a health-promoting hospital focusing on care, treatment, and working methods that put patient needs first. We develop our operations through process thinking, teamwork, and cross-professional collaboration.

Your profile

We are looking for you who have a Swedish medical license and possess Swedish language skills at level C1. If you have worked for at least 6 months as a junior doctor, preferably in dermatology, this is an advantage. We value that you collaborate well with others and are good at communicating and building good relationships. You enjoy patient interactions and, in your supervisory role, have an interest in helping others develop. Furthermore, you have the desire to contribute to the efficient development of our operations and to maintain the positive work climate on our unit. Personal suitability is given great weight.
