About the role

Olink - Part of Thermo Fisher Scientific has grown explosively in recent years and has made its mark worldwide in a short time. Their groundbreaking products are today used by leading research institutes and pharmaceutical companies to drive the next major breakthrough in medicine. With headquarters and a service lab in both Uppsala and Boston, Olink is a truly global player in Life Science. Here, technology is developed and used to provide new understanding of complex diseases such as cancer, cardiovascular diseases, and neurological disorders, research that can truly change people's lives.

In the role of Customer Service Administrator, you will become part of an international team working closely with the commercial organization and responsible for customer support-related processes and customer cases. The team consists of seven Project Managers, four based in Uppsala and three in Boston. The culture is characterized by psychological safety, collaboration, and continuous learning, where everyone is encouraged to contribute ideas, ask questions, and develop together.

As a Customer Service Administrator, you play a central role in ensuring a smooth and professional customer experience. You handle incoming customer inquiries via email and internal systems, manage returns and service cases, and ensure that customer information is correct and up-to-date in the company's systems. The role involves extensive collaboration with both customers and internal functions, where you help coordinate and drive issues forward to find solutions to customer-related matters.

You will work closely with experienced Project Managers and get a good insight into how customer support processes work in a global organization. For those at the beginning of their career, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your administrative skills, build customer contact experience, and learn to work cross-functionally in an international environment.

You will work closely with the team leader Zorana, whose leadership is characterized by humility, a focus on development, and a strong commitment to creating the best conditions for her employees to succeed. Through regular check-ins, everyday support, and a structured introduction, you will have good opportunities to grow into the role and develop long-term.

This is a consultancy assignment, meaning you will be employed by Academic Work and work as a consultant at Olink. The assignment is 32 hours per week and is expected to last until August 3rd. To be eligible for the assignment, you must be able to work throughout the entire period.

Responsibilities

In the role, you will among other things:

  • Respond to customer inquiries via email and internal systems in a professional and efficient manner
  • Manage returns, service cases, and other customer-related questions
  • Update and administer customer information in the company's systems
  • Collaborate with internal teams and departments to resolve customer-related issues
  • Follow established routines, processes, and service levels to ensure high quality in delivery
  • Contribute to a positive customer experience through a service-oriented and solution-focused approach

We are looking for you who

  • Are studying at a post-secondary level and have at least 1 year left of studies
  • Are very comfortable with English in both speech and writing as it is required to perform the job
  • Have good computer skills and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Have an interest in customer service, administration, and problem-solving
  • Enjoy working structured and carefully with a focus on quality
  • Are curious and motivated to learn new tasks, systems, and processes

It is meritorious, but not a requirement, if you

  • Are studying with a focus on Life Science
  • Have experience in customer service, administration, or similar work
  • Have experience with CRM systems
  • Are comfortable with Swedish in both speech and writing
