About the Role

As a TechOps Specialist, you will facilitate local data centers and build virtual environments for external customers. You will be part of a growing team that values knowledge sharing and close collaboration with product development and sales.

If you are considered for this role, you will undergo a security clearance and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

The role entails broad responsibility for network infrastructure, ranging from physical hardware in data centers to network virtualization and security simulations for customer-specific projects.

  • Design and manage network operations, including switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Operate and develop the customer's internal cloud (built on VMware solutions such as vSphere and Cloud Director).
  • Manage servers (Linux and Windows) as well as virtual desktop environments (VDI).
  • Provide support and develop storage solutions via NetApp.
  • Manage support tickets and system changes in ServiceNow.
  • Assist with cybersecurity in accordance with standards such as ISO 27001 and NIS2.
  • Document network design and operational procedures.

We are looking for someone who

  • Has relevant post-secondary education in IT, networking, systems science, or equivalent work experience.
  • Has a good understanding of TCP/IP, VLAN, routing, and firewalls.
  • Has previous experience with Linux/Windows administration and an interest in operations.
  • Has previous experience with scripting or automation.
  • Has an interest in VMware technologies such as vSphere, Cloud Director, and NSX-T.
  • Is fluent in Swedish and English.

It is an advantage if you have

  • Previous experience with Cisco environments.
  • Previous experience with NetApp.
  • Knowledge of VMware NSX.
  • Previous experience working in ServiceNow.
