Senior Technical Specialist at KB Components in Örkelljunga!
Do you want to drive technological development within modern plastic production?
We are now looking for an engaged and business-driven Senior Technical Specialist who wants to play a key role in our continued development within injection molding, automation, and smart production solutions.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work both strategically and operationally in an international environment where innovation, technology, and customer focus are at the center.
About the role
As a Senior Technical Specialist, you are responsible for identifying, analyzing, and implementing new technologies within the plastics industry with a focus on innovation, efficiency, and competitiveness. You work closely with production, project management, quality, suppliers, and customers – both locally and globally within the group.
The role involves a strong focus on automation, robotics, design (mold tools), and digitalization of processes, where you become an important technical advisor and driving force in development and investment projects.
The role reports to the Project and Technology Manager Sweden.
Main responsibilities and tasks:
- Drive the development of new technical solutions within plastics and injection molding technology
- Work proactively with automation, robotics, and smart production solutions
- Design, mold tools
- Participate in and lead projects related to new technologies, investments, and improvement initiatives
- Act as technical support in quotation and RFQ processes
- Perform technical analyses together with process and quality engineers
- Serve as a technical sounding board for project managers, engineers, and production
- Support marketing functions in technical customer reviews
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure optimal technical solutions
- Act as a global technical support function within the group
- Identify areas for improvement in production, process, and technology
Your profile
We are looking for you who have experience in industrial manufacturing and production processes from the plastic processing/injection molding industry, as well as a strong technical understanding of automation, process, and production systems. We consider it advantageous if you also have experience in tool design, product development, and robotics.
You have previous experience working in international environments with collaborations across multiple companies, as well as an interest in innovation, new technology, and working with continuous improvements.
As a person, you possess the ability to work independently, structured, and solution-oriented.
You are proactive, driving, communicative, and collaborative.
You are passionate about technical solutions and are naturally analytical while being business-minded and having a good understanding of customer needs.
