Responsibilities
Now is your chance to come and work in expanding Växjö and become part of the Child and Family Department. We offer you the opportunity to perform social work alongside dedicated and knowledgeable colleagues, on a department with high ambitions regarding quality, organization, and results. We offer a flexible workplace with the possibility of partial remote work.
The Child and Family Department is responsible for issues concerning children and young people at risk, children who are suffering, those in need of support, as well as parents who need support in their parenting role or in cooperation with the other parent. The assignment consists of preventive and early interventions, investigations into individual needs, the establishment and follow-up of treatment measures, and placements.
In the role of Specialist, Authority Enforcement, your main responsibilities will be to provide support and guidance in daily work to social secretaries, in collaboration with unit managers. As a specialist, you will also coordinate cases within the unit and between the department's units, as well as introduce new employees. You will, among other things, read and review documentation, ensure legal certainty and quality, monitor the external environment, and lead the work of developing and updating routines. You will also review documents concerning individual cases to be processed in committees, boards, various legal instances, and you will represent the department in both committees and court.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have a degree in social work and good knowledge of current legislation. You should have several years of professional experience within social work and, in addition, experience in authority enforcement in cases concerning children and young people. Since Signs of Safety permeates our work, knowledge in this area is meritorious.
You should have a good ability to work independently in all parts concerning case processing and development, as well as an ease in collaborating with others and creating trusting relationships. You have a good ability to lead, plan, and carry out work towards set goals. Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
A valid driver's license (Category B) is required.
