About the role

Do you have a good grasp of control systems, enjoy solving technical problems, and want to work in an industry where real action takes place? We are now looking for an Automation Engineer.

Here you will have the opportunity to work in a heavy industrial environment where technology, processes, and production meet. You will become a key part of the operation, working close to production with the operation, development, and improvement of automation solutions.

This is a role for you who wants to combine practical work in production with the development of industrial control systems.

As an Automation Engineer, you will work both operationally and developmentally with automation systems in a process and production environment.

You are technically interested, solution-oriented, and thrive in an environment where the pace may vary. You are self-motivated but also appreciate collaborating with other functions within the company.

We believe you enjoy being close to production, taking responsibility, and working with both troubleshooting and improvements of technical systems. You have analytical skills and can quickly get up to speed with complex problems.

This is not just a desk job; it is expected that you assist with commissioning and troubleshooting in the production environment, both above and underground, as needed!

  • Valid driver's license (Category B).
  • Ability to work independently without daily supervision once acclimatized.
  • Comfortable with instrumentation used in the process industry is preferred.
  • Experience with ABB frequency converters.
