About the Swedish Prison and Probation Service

The Swedish Prison and Probation Service is growing – we are building new facilities, renovating, and expanding, and we are now looking for more employees. Our most important goal is to reduce recidivism – to break the vicious cycle. If we succeed, society will become safer and more secure for everyone. We are the agency responsible for prisons, probation, remand prisons, and client transport.

Job Responsibilities

In the role of Process Support, you will provide support to probation managers and probation inspectors in both short-term and long-term work regarding assignments, investigations, and result monitoring in general, as well as in annual ongoing processes. You will conduct analyses of the operations and, in dialogue with managers and employees, propose action plans.

The role also involves supporting change management, assisting in and participating in local and local-regional assignments and projects. You will participate in quality work and practice development related to process development and quality development, and in dialogue with colleagues, develop suggestions for improvement within various work processes. Leading workshops and supporting managers in development processes is also part of the job.

The location is Probation Örebro or Probation Karlstad.

Qualifications

In the role of Process Support, we are looking for you who are structured, flexible, and have good collaboration skills. As a person, you are secure and stable. You are also analytical and have the ability to independently develop and maintain processes. You take responsibility for structuring your approach, driving your processes forward, and interacting with several stakeholders. We also look for someone who naturally adapts to changed circumstances and sees opportunities in change. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

To thrive and succeed in your assignment, it is important that you share the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's fundamental values regarding a human view of people, respect for the individual, and the belief that humans are capable of development. You are also aware of and understand how background, culture, and group affiliation affect yourself and others. Furthermore, you are expected to contribute through your attitude to ensuring that everyone is treated equally. We place great importance on personal suitability.

We are looking for you who have:

• A Bachelor's degree (180 ECTS) with a focus on quality management, public administration, political science, law, or behavioral science, or alternatively another academic education combined with experience deemed suitable for the position.
• Experience from the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's operations.
• Experience in developing action plans and development plans.
• Experience in investigation, follow-up, and analysis work.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both orally and in writing.
• A valid driver's license (Category B).

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience in quality management, change management, or implementation of new or changed assignments.
• Knowledge and experience in driving, leading, and maintaining processes with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience from probation operations.
