We offer a varied and educational job as a temporary staff member within elderly care. Our operations are spread throughout the municipality, and the work may involve shifts during days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

The work involves...

• Replacing a permanent employee who is on leave or sick
• Providing residents with quality care, support, and social activation
• Assisting with daily rehabilitation
• Supporting and helping residents with personal hygiene, meal assistance and serving, cleaning, and medication administration
• Receiving shadowing and introduction
• Receiving information on topics such as transfer techniques, medication management, documentation, and knowledge of our hygiene routines

Who are you?

We are looking for someone interested in elderly care, who is thorough, calm, flexible, and cooperative. You have good computer skills and good knowledge of Swedish, both reading, speaking, and writing.

It is meritorious if you have studied the Care and Nursing Program or have other equivalent care education, or have work experience in the field. To work in home care, a driver's license and/or the ability to cycle is required.

• Before employment, you must show a passport/national ID. If you are a citizen of a country outside the EU/EEA, you must also show your work permit. This is to secure your identity and your right to work in Sweden.
• We conduct language tests for positions within elderly care.
• Before employment with the care administration, we require you to present a valid extract from the criminal record. You can order this from the police now to speed up the recruitment process. Order the extract titled Work in the home with elderly persons and persons with disabilities.

• Within home care, you may come into contact with pets or tobacco smoke as we work in private residences.
• To apply for jobs with us, you do not need to be 18 years old, but to work for us, you must be 18 years old as there are tasks in our operations that minors are not allowed to perform.
• Hässleholm Municipality applies individual and differentiated salary setting according to current agreements.
