Our Operations

The maxillofacial section, with 40 employees, covers not only maxillofacial surgery, orthognathic surgery, and orofacial medicine, but also has its own sterile and operating department and CBCT X-ray. The section conducts research with high activity in collaboration with Uppsala University and several international partners within academia and industry.

Our operations are quality certified according to SS-EN 15224 and ISO 9001. Within the department of plastic surgery and maxillofacial surgery, a large part of the hospital's highly specialized national and regional care is conducted, as well as the county council's two national healthcare assignments, all in close collaboration between different specialties.

Your Role

Assisting with surgeries, treatments, and investigations. Intraoral X-rays, panoramic X-rays, and patient administrative work are also included in the job duties.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a trained dental nurse with an interest and experience in administration and clinical work. You have knowledge of the Swedish language equivalent to upper secondary school level or Swedish C1 in both speech and writing. We view positively if you have experience working in surgery as well as further education in maxillofacial operative care for dental nurses (15 credits). You have experience working in T4 and Cosmic systems. We also consider it merit-worthy if you have other healthcare education, e.g., as a nursing assistant.
