About Us

Närhälsan Torslanda Health Centre is a well-functioning workplace with competent staff and satisfied patients. We work with everything from preventive health work to emergency care. Today, we have approximately 50 employees from various professional groups working at the health centre, and we have around 17,250 registered patients of all ages – all equally important to us.

The health centre offers a doctor's clinic, blood sampling, district nurse clinic, Child Health Centre (BVC), as well as clinics for diabetes, asthma/COPD, smoking cessation, hypertension, and elderly and dementia care. We have a rehabilitation coordinator, a care planning nurse, and a psychosocial team consisting of a psychologist, social worker, and care coordinator. We collaborate closely with the municipality and are responsible for doctors in municipal housing and for patients receiving home care.

We actively work to develop the operations through continuous improvements where everyone is involved. Therefore, we hold frequent APT meetings and professional meetings where we jointly work on and follow up on ongoing work and projects.

About the Job

We are now offering a position at our health centre, where there are great opportunities to influence the content of your work yourself. You will work in a creative environment together with engaged colleagues. Your tasks at the health centre span a broad field and encompass general medical competence with patients of all ages and situations. You will work with clinic work and digital healthcare meetings in primary care.

You and your colleagues form a team with the opportunity to develop the operations. We achieve success together in an stimulating learning environment with open doors and a welcoming climate. The role also includes supervising ST and AT doctors as well as medical students. It is an important part of our mission to train tomorrow's healthcare staff. We offer you varied work with good development opportunities, for example through continuous further education of ten days per year.

About You

You are a licensed physician and have specialist training in general medicine with the eligibility to work within Swedish healthcare. Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, at level C1 or higher according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement for the position.

We are looking for you who can work independently but still want to participate in the development of the operations. Since you meet many different patients in your work, it is important that you are sensitive and have a good manner of dealing with people. You thrive in teamwork and consider it a given to collaborate with colleagues and other partners in the work.
