About the role

The IT-Communication unit currently consists of 24 people and is responsible for the network communication for the shared services in the City of Gothenburg delivered by Intraservice. Your area of focus will be the infrastructure in our data centers. Our vendors are leading industry players and include, among others, HPE, BlueCat, Palo Alto, F5, Microsoft, Cisco, Algosec, Fortinet, VMware, and Commvault.

The role involves both operational work where you work daily with our technical platforms, as well as strategic and technical work where you contribute to long-term development, architecture, and direction. The focus area is our security products.

You will also contribute to developing frameworks and building blocks that strengthen the entire IT environment – regardless of which tools or technologies are used within different domains.

About you

We are looking for you who have a university degree in IT or acquired experience that the employer considers equivalent. You have extensive knowledge in the field and experience working independently. You have experience with enterprise networks (more than 20,000 users).

DevOps and modern working methods involving automation are a guiding principle for you.

We see that you have experience implementing and introducing security solutions within or for large companies or organizations. In other words, you have experience translating technical requirements into practical and sustainable solutions. A major driving force for you is improvement work.

In addition to technical competence, we place great emphasis on you being meticulous and working systematically, having the ability to collaborate with colleagues and other stakeholders while also being able to work independently. You are responsible, value order and structure, and delivering high quality is a guiding principle in your work. We also believe that you are stimulated by problem-solving and that you express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish.

It is meritorious if you have competence and experience working on projects where you can contribute to leading the work forward. We work according to the PPS model.

Other

The role may include on-call duties and evening/weekend work during service windows as needed.

At Intraservice, your title will be System Analyst.

Selection is ongoing, and interviews are primarily planned for week 27.
