We are looking for a Senior UX Designer to join an innovative design team in Gothenburg. In this role, you will design and develop user experiences for future automotive solutions, focusing on digital interfaces for central displays and mobile applications.

You will become part of a business where design and technology meet to create intuitive, visually appealing, and user-centered solutions. The role involves close collaboration with designers, engineers, and product teams throughout the entire development process.

• Design and optimize user interfaces for automotive-related systems, including central displays and mobile apps

• Create interactive prototypes to explore and communicate new UX concepts and interaction patterns

• Analyze user behavior and feedback to improve the user experience

• Collaborate with development teams, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure high quality in design solutions

• Ensure a consistent design experience across the entire product interface

• Provide design specifications and documentation for the development team

• Contribute to the development of design processes, methods, and workflows

• User-centered UX and UI solutions for automotive environments

• Interactive prototypes and concept visualizations

• Documented design assets for development and implementation

• Improved user flows based on analysis and user insights

• Design solutions that balance user needs, technical requirements, and business goals

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in design with a focus on UX, interaction design, or equivalent

• At least 5 years of experience in UX design within the automotive industry or related fields

• Documented experience designing for touch-based platforms such as mobile apps

• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, iconography, screen layouts, and system interactions

• Experience with user testing, UX analysis, and working with user feedback

• Experience collaborating closely with both designers and engineers

• Very good proficiency in Figma, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator

• Very good understanding of visual design, typography, color theory, and layout

• Fluent in English, both spoken and written

• Experience with automotive-related HMI solutions

• Experience developing concepts into production-ready solutions together with suppliers and engineering teams

• Experience in prototyping for complex digital products

• Experience working in international and cross-functional environments
