Who you are:

You are a hands-on engineer who enjoys making different software components and systems work together. You are confident working in Linux environments, you understand how data moves across networks, and you have practical experience with service-oriented communication. You take ownership of integration tasks and can independently debug issues across the stack.

We believe you bring:

• Solid hands-on experience working with Linux systems — configuration, administration, debugging, and shell scripting in real-world environments

• A good understanding of networking protocols and concepts, including TCP/IP, UDP, Ethernet, multicast, and routing

• Practical experience with SOME/IP service-oriented communication (service discovery, event/method-based messaging, serialization)

• Experience integrating software components and ensuring reliable communication between distributed systems and ECUs

• Scripting skills in Python

• Strong diagnostic and analysis skills using tools such as Wireshark, tcpdump, and protocol/bus analyzers

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues spanning network, middleware, and application layers

• Experience working within automotive, embedded systems, or SDV architectures is a strong advantage.

What you'll do:

• Integrate software components across ECUs and connected services, with a focus on service-oriented communication

• Bring up, configure, and debug communication stacks in Linux-based target environments

• Investigate integration issues end-to-end from the network layer up to the application and drive them to root cause

• Collaborate with different teams to ensure reliable, well-tested integrations
