About the role

Do you want to be part of shaping the next generation of IT environments where collaboration, automation, and shared working methods are at the center?

The IT Communication unit currently consists of 24 people and is responsible for network communication for the shared services in the City of Gothenburg delivered by Intraservice. Your focus area will be the infrastructure in our data centers. You will contribute to developing frameworks and building blocks that strengthen the entire IT environment – regardless of which tools or technologies are used within different domains. We focus on function and capability rather than specific products.

In this role, you will work on developing and establishing shared capabilities and working methods within areas such as:

• Monitoring and observability
• Logging and traceability
• Version control
• Standardization
• Automation and efficiency
• Platform thinking and integration capability

You will also contribute to developing frameworks and building blocks that strengthen the entire IT environment – regardless of which tools or technologies are used within different domains. Some specialist areas require their own solutions, and we see this as a natural part of modern IT architecture.

About you

We are looking for you who have a university education in IT or acquired experience that the employer considers equivalent. You have extensive knowledge in the field and broad experience working independently, as well as experience with enterprise networks with more than 20,000 users. You understand the value of standardization without creating unnecessary centralization. DevOps and modern working methods involving automation are a guiding star.

We see that you have long experience in implementing and introducing complex solutions within or for large companies or organizations. In other words, you have experience in translating technical needs into practical and sustainable solutions. A major driving force for you is improvement work.

In addition to technical competence, we place great importance on you being meticulous and working systematically, having the ability to collaborate with colleagues and other stakeholders while also being able to work independently. You are responsible, value order and clarity, and delivering high quality is a guiding star in your work. We also believe that you are stimulated by problem-solving and that you express yourself well orally and in writing in Swedish.

It is meritorious if you have competence in and experience working with projects where you can contribute to leading the work forward. We work according to the PPS model.

Other

The position may include on-call duties and work during evenings and weekends during service windows as needed.

At our company, you will hold the title of Technical IT Strategist.

Continuous selection will take place, and interviews are planned for week 27.
