Vårdcentralen Knislinge is located in Östra Göinge Municipality with good commuting opportunities. It is a well-functioning and stable unit with just under 9,000 listed patients and approximately 48 employees. We work patient-centered and are keen on providing good and close care with care, focusing on high accessibility, quality, and continuity. Here, we have a high ceiling and a good work climate with a focus on teamwork and a cross-professional approach to offer our patients the best available care.
At the health center, six specialists in general medicine and five ST-doctors work together with nurses, paramedics, assistant nurses, and secretaries in a close and well-functioning collaboration. We also have a varying number of AT- and BT-doctors who are part of our well-organized doctor's office. Additionally, we have a mobile care team staffed by doctors every day, and we are responsible for two of the municipality's special housing facilities.
The health center has long experience as a training health center. Over the years, we have been nominated and won awards several times as one of the region's best units.
Competence development is important to us, and collegial dialogue has high priority with regular doctor meetings and scheduled development time. The unit's doctors have several side assignments such as school doctor, assignments at the youth clinic, STRAMA representative, and several have AKO assignments.

Job Description
As an ST-doctor, you follow your ST plan, and we offer a supportive educational climate with continuous supervision on your path to specialist competence. During the first year, you work at the health center, and the following four years alternate between health center work and rotations at specialist clinics.
In addition to mandatory ST courses, you are offered good development opportunities with continuous internal and external further education, based on interest and the needs of the activity. Furthermore, we expect you to be involved in improvement work and activity development.
You will get your own limited patient list, which will be expanded during your ST service.
Qualifications
You who apply are a licensed doctor with permission to work within Swedish healthcare. To be relevant for an ST position in general medicine, completed basic training (BT) or previously completed general training (AT) according to older regulations is required. Language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are a requirement. Experience from primary care is meritorious.

A permanent position as an ST-doctor may be preceded by a fixed-term position as an assistant doctor for a period of three to six months in accordance with regional guidelines for the appointment of ST-doctor positions within Primary Care.
