The Opportunity

As a Production Planner at Hitachi Energy in Figeholm, you play a key role in planning and developing an efficient production plan. We have a strong family feel within a flat organization, and we are part of a global corporation with customers worldwide. As a Production Planner, you are responsible for planning and optimizing production and capacity for various departments in the Figeholm factory. The goal is to maintain a steady production flow and ensure that our products are delivered on time.

You will collaborate with departments such as production, marketing, purchasing, and project management to solve challenges and drive improvements. You will find a combination of structure and problem-solving in a versatile and developing work environment. The factory has recently implemented a new business system, providing room for further development.

The business unit manufactures electrical insulation materials in sheet, laminate, and pressboard insulation components. The material is used as insulation in power transformers. The components are sold to customers worldwide as assembled and pre-assembled kits, as well as complete kits packed in assembly order. The material we manufacture has high requirements for purity, electrical, and mechanical properties.

How you will make a difference

• Plan and optimize work in the factory's various production departments with a focus on ensuring delivery security.
• Collaborate with production, marketing, project management, maintenance, and other internal functions to drive improvements and find optimal solutions.
• Monitor and adjust planning as needed to meet changes and solve problems, such as quality and delivery challenges.

Your background

• You have previous experience in production planning in the manufacturing industry.
• Experience with the SAP business system is highly advantageous but not a requirement.
• You can communicate clearly in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
• You have very good skills in Excel.
