At Preventive and Health Promotion Services, we are a team of 7 employees with different areas of responsibility. We target all individuals over the age of 18 who experience loneliness and/or are at risk of becoming isolated and need to find safe social contexts.

The service has its main activities at Havsblick in Lomma and some activities in Bjärred. We target people living in ordinary housing, i.e., in their own homes, who have a need to create new community. The purpose is to reduce involuntary loneliness and isolation to counteract its negative consequences and to raise awareness of health for everyone. We work and collaborate with various parts of civil society to give residents the opportunity to remain in their own homes and experience quality of life, independence, meaningfulness, and health. We work from a physical, psychological, social, and cultural perspective through our activities at Open Meeting Places, Meeting Points, family support, and more.

One of our Activity Coordinators has decided to take a sabbatical, so we are looking for a new colleague.

Responsibilities

The advertised position as Activity Coordinator at Preventive and Health Promotion Services involves actively working at the Open Meeting Place, for the Meeting Point, as well as coordinating and supporting our volunteer operations.

The duties include planning, collaborating, and cooperating with various actors, both within and outside the municipality. The different actors can be associations, social workers, transport services, other departments, etc. The tasks are varied and involve collaboration with the other Activity Coordinators, but you will have primary responsibility for some of these. Home visits may also occur to motivate people to participate in our offered activities and meet at our meeting places to counteract feelings of loneliness and isolation.

The role also includes some administrative tasks and planning, so you need to be experienced with administration.

You will be part of the Department for Disability Support, the Unit for Authority LSS, fees, and Preventive and Health Promotion Services. The unit consists of 2 fee handlers, 1 Guide, 2 LSS caseworkers, and Preventive and Health Promotion Services in Lomma Municipality. The unit is divided into two parts with great cohesion, and we actively value each other's work environment.

Working hours are primarily during the day, but evening work may also occur. We apply flexible working hours.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have relevant education for the assignment within Preventive and Health Promotion Services. We prefer that you have education as a gerontological educator or equivalent. As an employee with us, it is important that you have the ability to work independently but also to collaborate with others and be responsible for your assignment. You have a very good approach towards both colleagues, guests, and other actors.

You need to be able to express yourself professionally in both speech and writing and have the ability to structure and prioritize in the assignment. Experience in similar assignments is meritorious. Employment Terms

• Type of Employment: Permanent
• Duration: Permanent
• Salary: 34,000–37,000 SEK/month. The salary interval is stated in accordance with current regulations on wage transparency (10th and 90th percentile).
