In Simrishamn Municipality, we are building the employment services of the future, and you have the chance to be involved from the very beginning.

You will not be stepping into a finished operation that needs to be restructured, but rather into an organization where we collaborate and create something new based on the new legal requirement – the Activity Requirement for recipients of social assistance.

You will have one foot in our employment unit under the Social Services Act (SOL), which is currently being established, and one foot in the workplace instruction group within daily activities under the Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS). Within daily activities, we have long and broad experience in workplace instruction in various tasks. We are accustomed to creating new solutions based on needs and tailoring them to the individual.

We are planning for four work groups focused on kitchen work, green area maintenance, reuse/recycling, caretaking, and similar service tasks. Together, we are building an operation that makes a real difference and creates added value for our clients and participants. Responsibilities

We are looking for you who are driven by meetings with people, see opportunities, and want to contribute ideas, experience, and drive to an operation under construction. You are confident in your professional role, believe in the individual's capabilities, and enjoy working in an environment characterized by cooperation, engagement, and development. You easily build relationships with clients, colleagues, and collaboration partners. As a Workplace Instructor in Simrishamn Municipality, you will:

• Provide daily practical instruction to participants in various group tasks.
• Help shape tasks and routines from the start.
• Be involved in efforts to strengthen people's opportunities for work and/or studies, with a focus on sustainable self-sufficiency.
• Create meaningful tasks that motivate participants and clients to engage.
• Contribute your expertise in an environment characterized by trust-based management, where managers set the direction based on operations, and you as an employee have the opportunity to define the "how" in daily work.

Qualifications

To be considered for the position:

• You have experience working as a workplace instructor, supervisor, or similar, e.g., within LSS or work capacity assessments.
• You have several years of professional experience in one of these areas: kitchen, reuse/recycling, green work, caretaking, or other service tasks.
• You have a valid Category B driver's license.
• You are organized in your work and able to prioritize among your various tasks alongside your instructional duties.
• You have digital skills and good ability to express yourself in speech and writing.
• You have the ability and experience to launch a new operation and find structures for daily work.
• You have strong communication skills and people awareness.
• You are capable of performing both physically and mentally demanding tasks.
