About Hospital Rehabilitation

Hospital Rehabilitation contributes to better emergency care and rehabilitation for patients in Kronoberg County. We are several professions working together to meet patients' needs for assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and disease prevention measures.

We are now expanding our team of rehabilitation assistants and looking for a new colleague for a fixed-term assignment. Today, we are four rehabilitation assistants working closely with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and speech therapists. The clinic also includes dietitians, social workers, psychologists, sexologists, rehabilitation coordinators, and administrative staff.

Responsibilities

The work as a rehabilitation assistant is characterized by variety, where you meet patients at different stages of their rehabilitation. With the individual in focus, you plan and carry out measures that make a real difference.

The position includes:

• Preparing and leading group training
• Conducting individual treatments such as training and information, both in outpatient and inpatient care
• Assisting occupational therapists and physiotherapists in treatment and training
• Participating in speech therapy examinations, such as FUS
• Handling orders and deliveries
• Responsible for maintenance and preparation of materials and exercise equipment

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have worked with rehabilitation within healthcare. You have education in rehabilitation, or alternatively, you are a trained nursing assistant with experience in rehabilitative working methods.

The work can be physically demanding at times, which makes good physical fitness a prerequisite.

As a person, you enjoy working in a team and find it easy to create and develop good relationships. You actively contribute with your competence and help create a pleasant and positive work environment. You have a solution-oriented and flexible approach to work and a good ability to adapt to changed conditions.
