About the role

As an employee, you represent Hornbach and serve as a role model in terms of engagement, drive, and customer service. We are now looking for a store sales assistant for our iron, tools, and electrical department.

Your main tasks will primarily consist of sales and advice to customers. Thanks to your product knowledge and sales skills, you ensure that the customer can complete their project.

Examples of duties

• Active sales of the product range within iron, tools, and electrical.
• Opportunities to be inspired, learn from colleagues, and exchange solid knowledge and experience within the product area.
• Responsibility for incoming goods and display, as well as setup and restructuring of the department.
• Analyze the department's product presentation.
• Be helpful on other departments as needed.

Your profile

• Upper secondary education or equivalent, along with experience in retail.
• Relevant professional experience/education within iron or tools.
• Education or work experience in electrical installation is a requirement.
• Passionate about offering our customers the best possible service.
• Realize the customer's project through professional advice on our wide product range.
• As a person, you are stress-resistant, flexible, and solution-oriented.
• Forklift license (A1-A4 & B1-B4) is a requirement.

Working hours/Duration: Permanent position. Part-time 30 hours/week. Scheduled working hours during the day, evening, and every other weekend.

Salary: Salary according to collective agreement.
