Job Responsibilities

As a nursing assistant, you work in pairs with another nursing assistant, and together you care for the patient as part of a team with the nurse. Collaboration also takes place with doctors during rounds, as well as with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, coordinators, care planners, and kitchen staff. Regardless of job title, we work towards the same goal - to meet the patient's care needs.

As a nursing assistant with us, you will among other things work with:

• Blood cultures
• Peripheral intravenous catheter (PIV) insertion
• Documentation
• Sampling, wound dressing changes, and other care interventions.

Qualifications

As a person, we are looking for you who like to initiate activities and achieve results. You are calm, attentive, and accommodating in your interactions and have the interest, will, and ability to help others. We are also looking for you who see opportunities in changes and can adapt when the situation requires it.

In the role of nursing assistant, you must:

• Be a trained nursing assistant
• Have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

Specialization in emergency care and/or experience working in inpatient care is meritorious.
