Our 1,800 employees work with primary care and health in Uppsala County. We offer a wide range of services within primary care. Our patients meet us at Region Uppsala's own health centres or within habilitation services, and we provide advice over the phone via 1177. Education, research, and development are important to us, as we adapt our offerings based on the needs of the residents. We already offer mobile teams, video visits, and smart e-services.

We are now looking to hire another District Doctor for Skutskär Health Centre

There is now a unique opportunity to join our initiative where we are hiring more district doctors for Skutskär Health Centre, aiming to offer all district doctors a reasonable patient list based on their employment percentage. Come and influence our new working methods and patient flows! We offer a permanent part-time position (50%). Start date by agreement.

Your Role

At our centre, you will work in close collaboration with all professions at the health centre and in teams. Your tasks will include reception work with good opportunities for other stimulating duties, such as supervising BT/AT/ST doctors and responsibility for various clinical processes based on interest. As part of the job, you will contribute to developing our operations, with good opportunities to influence work arrangements and scheduling, thereby impacting your work environment. The role also includes some on-call duties/standby, as is standard across primary care in Region Uppsala. We offer the possibility to work partially remotely.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a doctor with specialist competence in general medicine, with Swedish licensure and good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written. Since we are currently in a phase where we have great opportunities to develop our operations, it is an advantage if you have an interest in healthcare development with a focus on the patient and patient flows. It is also a plus if you appreciate working in teams with other professions regarding patients to achieve efficient flows. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.

Skutskär Health Centre is located a five-minute walk from the train station, making it easy to commute from both Gävle (17 km) and Uppsala (9 miles). All professional fields are represented here, and together we offer all services within the health centre's mandate. Here, all professions work closely together to provide the best possible care, and you can become part of our team!

Together, we have 9,000 listed patients. We are 42 employees offering most services within primary care, including well-functioning nurse-led clinics. At the health centre, we work to provide our patients with the best possible care.
