Description

The assignment involves a combined role where you, as the Medical Responsibility for Rehabilitation (MAR), also have a coordination task for the board's preventive work. The MAR has overall responsibility for quality and patient safety within the rehabilitation area. The work is both strategic and operational and takes place in close collaboration with managers, other licensed personnel within municipal health and medical care, the Medical Responsible Nurse (MAS), and other quality functions. The assignment aims to strengthen medical competence and preventive work. The work should contribute to systematic improvement work in line with the transition to Close Care and the new Social Services Act.

The assignment covers approximately 25% MAR and 75% Coordinator. This is a new position that will be evaluated; the content of the assignment may be adjusted based on operational needs.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will among other things:

• have overall responsibility for quality, patient safety, and development within rehabilitation, in close collaboration with the MAS
• develop, follow up, and ensure the quality of guidelines, routines, and working methods
• support managers and employees in rehabilitation matters as well as in complex assessments and prioritizations
• analyze deviations and drive systematic improvement work
• work preventively to strengthen function, independence, and quality of life for municipal residents
• plan and implement educational initiatives
• analyze statistics and other data for follow-up and development
• collaborate locally, regionally, and nationally
• follow developments within rehabilitation and assistive devices and contribute to the implementation of new working methods
• collaborate with the E-Health Unit and develop work with welfare technology and digital solutions within care and social services
• participate in and drive development work

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist or a licensed physiotherapist and have:

• several years of current experience working within rehabilitation
• good knowledge of municipal health and medical care
• experience with quality and improvement work
• good understanding of legislation within HSL (Health and Medical Services Act) and patient safety
• experience working with follow-up, analysis, and statistics

It is meritorious if you have:

• education in quality and improvement knowledge
• experience working in a leading or strategic role
• previous experience as MAR or a similar function
• experience in change management or development work
• knowledge of welfare technology and digital working methods
