ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a junior software tester with a focus on security, you will become part of a team working to ensure quality and security in the company's products and solutions. The role combines traditional testing with a security focus, meaning you will work with both manual and automated tests and contribute to identifying and preventing security risks.

You will be part of a team of approximately 13 people where knowledge exchange, collaboration, and sharing are a natural part of everyday life. Here you will have the opportunity to develop within both testing and security alongside experienced colleagues.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and maintain automated tests in Python
• Create and execute test cases for security-related features
• Work with regression tests and identify opportunities for increased automation
• Test APIs and verify that the right users have the right permissions and access
• Ensure that configurations and system settings meet security requirements
• Conduct penetration tests and contribute to identifying vulnerabilities
• Perform system analyses to detect security risks in products and solutions
• Contribute to the development of future test automation solutions in the security area

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO:

• Will have completed an engineering degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in June/August 2026 in a relevant field
• Have experience programming in Python
• Have an interest in testing, quality assurance, or security
• Thrive in a role where you get to combine coding, analysis, and collaboration
• Speak and write fluent English and Swedish, as both languages are used in daily work

It is not necessary, but advantageous if you have:

• Experience with relevant hobby projects or work experience in the field

ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT:

This is a consultancy assignment, which means you will initially be employed by Friday. The ambition from both the client's and our side is that after a number of agreed months, you will become directly employed by the client.
