On behalf of our client, we are now looking for you who want to work as a Junior Test Engineer in an international and innovative environment. We are looking for you who have recently graduated as a Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Master of Science in Engineering, and who are looking for an exciting first step in your career! In your role as a tester, you will have the chance to work with problem-solving and software testing together with others from the QA department. This means that you will be part of a team where you will get a mentor at the start who will act as a sounding board during your first period. In the role, you will advocate for quality in all parts of the development work. In other words, you will become an important pillar in the development of the company's exciting products. In the role, you will work in a Linux environment and in the MySQL database. We would like you to have programming skills in PHP, Python, and JavaScript.

The position is a full-time assignment with start date upon agreement. You will be employed by us at StudentConsulting but hired out to the company. It is an immediate start and the assignment is initially calculated to 12 months, with good chances of extension or alternatively direct hire to the company in question. You will work standard office hours, Monday-Friday.

THIS IS WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We believe you have:

• Recently completed education as a Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Master of Science in Engineering
• Good knowledge and interest in programming, with good prerequisites to learn Python
• Relevant experience with Linux
• Some experience with GIT or similar version control systems
• Understanding of networks and their structure
• Good knowledge and understanding of computers and operating systems

Meritorious experience and skills:

• Experience with Python
• Analysis of TCP/IP protocols with Wireshark
• Knowledge of software testing
