Here you will take a holistic approach to an established data and analytics environment in a large educational organization. The platform is built on a city-wide data warehouse in Microsoft SQL Server and Qlik Sense as the primary BI tool. As the solution has grown, so has the complexity, and there is now a clear need to review the entire chain – from data ingestion and technical architecture to visualization, usability, and maintenance.

You step into a role where you analyze the current state, identify improvements, and recommend a long-term sustainable path forward. If time permits, you will also have the opportunity to implement selected improvements in practice. This is an exciting opportunity for you who want to combine technical depth with concrete business value in a platform used for monitoring and analysis in a complex environment.

• You conduct a technical review of the entire BI and analytics platform, from data ingestion and data warehouse to reports and visualizations.
• You evaluate the technical architecture and develop recommendations that strengthen stability, maintainability, data quality, and efficiency.
• You analyze usability and accessibility in existing solutions and propose improvements that make the platform easier and clearer to use.
• You contribute to the platform strategy and help define a sustainable direction for the further development of the BI and analytics environment.
• You review working methods for development, testing, and maintenance and identify how processes can be improved.
• You develop concrete action proposals and, where possible, drive the implementation of selected improvements.
• You utilize your experience with AI, R, Python, and API Management where it creates value in analysis, monitoring, or development.

• At least five (5) years of documented experience working with modern information and data architecture.
• At least three (3) years of documented experience with analytics platforms based on Microsoft SQL Server and Qlik Sense.
• Documented experience from at least two (2) assignments where AI has been used as support for analysis, monitoring, or code development.
• Documented experience in programming in both R and Python from at least one (1) completed assignment in the last five (5) years.
• Documented experience in API Management from at least one (1) assignment.
• At least three (3) years of documented experience in system development and system maintenance.
• Documented experience in test management or leading test work from at least one (1) assignment.

• At least one (1) completed assignment within upper secondary or adult education involving statistics or reporting.
• At least one (1) completed assignment within municipal operations.
• At least one (1) completed assignment involving the design or further development of solutions focused on usability and accessibility.
• At least one (1) completed assignment involving a technical review or architecture audit of a BI or analytics platform.
• At least one (1) completed assignment involving the development of improvement proposals and the implementation of improvement measures within BI or analytics platforms.
