Do you thrive in a varied support role where you mix troubleshooting in Active Directory and ServiceNow with personal, on-site service? As a consultant at Academic Work, you will become a key player in a tight team of 4 people at our client's office in Helsingborg.

About the role

This is a full-time consulting assignment starting on August 17, 2026. You will be employed by us at Academic Work and work as a consultant on an initial 4-month assignment at our client – a well-known and major player in the banking and finance sector with offices in Helsingborg. For the right person who contributes with great engagement and where the collaboration works seamlessly, there are good opportunities for permanent hiring by the client.

Here you step into a close-knit and wonderful team of four people where you rotate tasks to keep the daily work varied and fun. The role is broad and covers everything from deeper troubleshooting to pure hardware management and proactive improvement work. You are also encouraged to drive your own initiatives that lift the entire group!

Responsibilities

  • Handle, resolve, and register incoming support cases via phone, email, chat, and through personal visits (onsite).
  • Troubleshoot and support primarily in a Windows environment, but also handle a smaller portion of Mac users.
  • Resolve incidents directly upon first contact or package and escalate to the correct specialist team internally.
  • Visit the client's various offices as needed to support with hardware and provide on-site support.
  • Work proactively to streamline processes, document, and prevent recurring errors.

We are looking for you who

  • Have very good communication skills and fluent knowledge in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • Have at least 3 years of experience working in a similar role within IT Support / Service Desk.
  • Have practical experience with incident management and ticket flows in ServiceNow.
  • Have basic knowledge of Active Directory and permission management.
  • Have good experience with support and troubleshooting in a Windows environment.
  • As a person, you are very responsible, proactive, and a distinct team player who spreads good energy in the group.

It is an advantage if you have

  • Knowledge and experience in Entra ID / Azure, Office 365 (O365), and working in a hybrid environment with traditional Active Directory (AD).
  • Experience supporting Mac OS.
  • Previous experience from the banking or finance sector.
