Sylinderakutten is a mechanical workshop with a primary focus on hydraulic cylinders.

We are located in Brumunddal, in a central location between Hamar, Lillehammer, and Gjøvik. The company was founded in 2002 and became part of Hydraulikkteknikk with TESS as the parent company at the turn of the year 2018/2019. This gives us security, strong professional competence, and exciting development opportunities.

No two workdays are alike here. Changing seals, manufacturing new piston rods, and producing components for hydraulic cylinders are natural parts of our operations. We also supply Expander bolts, Norgren pneumatics, seals from FPE Seals, as well as new cylinders from several suppliers around Europe.

In short, we are a complete supplier of hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders.

We are now looking for an experienced CNC operator who thrives with varied tasks and has an interest in mechanical work in a workshop environment.

Responsibilities

The position primarily focuses on CNC machining but also includes practical workshop work.

Your tasks will include, among other things:

• CNC machining, primarily turning and milling
• Programming, setup, and production in CNC machines
• Conventional machining when needed
• Repair and adaptation of components
• Other typical workshop tasks

We are looking for you who

We believe you are practical, solution-oriented, and responsible. You appreciate variety in work and want to be part of a small but highly competent workshop team.

We would like you to have:

• Experience as a CNC operator and/or industrial mechanic
• Good technical understanding and a genuine mechanical interest
• Ability to work both independently and in collaboration with colleagues
• Experience with varied tasks within workshop and production

A trade certificate or equivalent education is meritorious, but relevant experience can compensate for this.

You need to master Swedish, Norwegian, or Danish in speech and writing.
