Hallsbergs smide AB has been in operation for over 70 years. We currently have approximately 35 employees. Our core values are fast deliveries, high quality, and extensive professional expertise. We operate within three main customer segments: repair/maintenance, contract manufacturing, and structural steelwork.

We also perform work directly at customer sites.

We possess broad expertise in sheet metal processing and machining. Our focus is on small-batch production, such as prototypes and small series. We work with standard steel grades, stainless steel, and aluminum.

We are certified in ISO 9001, ISO 3834-2, and EN ISO 1090-1, which means our welders hold valid welding licenses.

Job Description: Site Supervisor for Outdoor Assembly and Welding

We are seeing an increasing demand for our services. Therefore, we need to strengthen our team with a new employee.

Responsibilities:

You will work as a site supervisor for outdoor jobs and participate in assembly (welding). The role can be adapted slightly to your experience.

• Main focus: Repair, structural steelwork, and manufacturing of components.
• Lead personnel in the execution of repairs and welding based on drawings, instructions, and independent problem-solving.
• Structural Steelwork: From simple railings to erecting steel frames with walls and roof sheets, etc.
• Workshop: Manufacturing components with a focus on sheet metal processing.

Your Qualifications:

• Experience in welding various types of materials, primarily black steel.
• At least 3 years of "field work" experience where welding, problem-solving, and team leadership are key parts of your job.
• Having a welding license in any area is a plus.
• Experience in cost estimation and quotation work is an advantage.

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities as we work with a high degree of autonomy. The role involves significant customer contact as you are the face of the company on-site. You should be a natural leader in your role.

Work Location:

Work is normally carried out in our local area, so no overnight stays are required.
