About the Company:

Hallsbergs Smide AB has been in operation for over 70 years and currently employs around 35 people. Our core values are fast deliveries, high quality, and extensive professional expertise. We operate within three different customer segments: repair/maintenance, contract manufacturing, and structural steelwork. We also perform work directly at our customers' premises.

We have broad expertise in sheet metal processing and machining. Our focus is on small-batch production, such as prototypes and smaller series sizes. We work with commonly used steel grades, stainless steel, and aluminum.

We are currently certified in ISO 9001, ISO 3834-2, and EN ISO 1090-1, which means that our welders hold valid welding licenses.

We are seeing an increasing demand for our services. Therefore, we need to strengthen our organization with two new employees.

Job Description:

Main Focus: Repair, structural steelwork, and welding in the workshop.

You will independently perform repairs and welding, both in the workshop and on-site at customer locations, based on drawings, instructions, and your own problem-solving skills.

Within structural steelwork, we execute everything from simple railings to erecting steel frames with walls and roof panels, etc.

Your Qualifications:

• Experience in welding various types of materials, primarily black steel.
• At least 5 years of experience in field work ("on-site jobs") where welding and problem-solving are a major part of your duties.
• Having a welding license in any area is a plus.

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities, as we work with a high degree of autonomy. Work is normally carried out in our local area, so no overnight stays are required. In the future, there may be opportunities to take on greater responsibility as a site supervisor.
