LetsGig AB is looking for a reliable, social, and responsible person for a long-term assignment as a host and supervisor at a senior housing facility in Sundsvall. This assignment is suitable for you who thrive with people, service, structure, and practical responsibility in a social environment.

The assignment is part-time and performed on-site on weekdays, mainly between 10:30–14:30. It may also involve planning, coordination, and documentation related to the assignment.

The assignment runs for two years with the possibility of extension for up to two additional years.

About the role

You will have a combined role as a host and supervisor. The role means that you are an important contact person for the residents, while simultaneously supporting and supervising individuals undergoing work training in the operation.

The work involves, among other things:

• Staffing the reception and being available for residents
• Being a safe and positive contact person in daily operations
• Helping residents with simple questions, fault reports, and information
• Writing notices and contributing to clear communication in the housing facility
• Planning, supporting, and participating in activities, meetings, and social gatherings
• Collaborating with residents, associations, and responsible contact persons
• Overseeing common areas
• Preparing lunch service through table setting, drinks, coffee, and practical preparations
• Serving food and providing simple support to residents during lunch
• Managing dishes, kitchen, and lunchroom according to given routines after lunch
• Supervising approximately 10 individuals undergoing work training
• Contributing to order, well-being, continuity, and a good atmosphere in daily life

Workplace and scope

The workplace is located in Sundsvall.

The assignment is performed on-site. Remote work is not an option.

Regular working hours are weekdays, mainly between 10:30–14:30.

The assignment corresponds to approximately half-time.

You need to be able to work continuously over time and have the opportunity to be a stable person in the operation.

Requirements

You should have experience working with elderly persons or other experience considered equivalent, such as service, hosting, social work, association life, meal services, supervision, or similar.

You must be fluent in speaking and writing Swedish.

• You should be comfortable meeting many people in daily life.
• You should be comfortable leading or participating in larger meetings, gatherings, and events.
• You must be able to work on-site in Sundsvall on weekdays during regular working hours.
• You must be able to work independently and take responsibility for daily routines.
• You should be confident in supervising others in practical work.
• You must be able to handle simple lunch preparations, serving, dishwashing, and resetting the kitchen/lunchroom.
• You must be able to provide a CV and relevant references.

Preferred experience

It is advantageous if you have experience in any of the following:

• Work at senior housing, retirement homes, or similar environments
• Work with elderly persons
• Hosting, reception, or service
• Supervisory role, team leadership, or support for individuals in work training
• Meal services, serving, café, kitchen, or restaurant
• Association life, activities, social gatherings, or events
• Planning and execution of meetings or activities
• Contact with tenants, residents, visitors, or customers
• Documentation, notices, information management, or simple administration

About the employment

You will be employed or contracted via LetsGig AB for assignments with external operations in Sundsvall.

Compensation and setup are determined by agreement depending on experience, availability, and assignment form.
