Your future challenge

As a welding inspector specializing in visual inspection, you play a crucial role in ensuring safety and quality in our products. You work with reviewing and assessing hulls, welded details, and critical components against high standards.

In your daily routine, you will:

• Perform visual inspection (VT) to identify welding defects.
• Document and report results according to our processes.
• Work in the middle of production, close to quality and team leaders, to develop and improve welding quality and prevent deviations.

You will join a department where we currently have 15 people with various tasks within OFP, visual inspection, measurement, and quality assurance in hull manufacturing at BAE Systems Hägglunds in Örnsköldsvik.

About you

We are looking for someone who is technically interested and wants to work with visual inspection of welding. If you currently lack training in visual inspection, we provide the training.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Knowledge of visual inspection (VT).
• Previous experience in welding inspection.

You have good IT skills and are proficient in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing – something that is important in our international work environment.

A category B driver's license is required, and it is an advantage if you also have a forklift and/or crane operator certificate.

As a person, you are meticulous, structured, and responsible – but also solution-oriented and accustomed to collaborating. You have good judgment and an understanding of high quality requirements.
