We are now looking for an engaged and driven Operations Coordinator for our gynecological department – a key person who wants to help develop both the role and the business forward.

This is a role for you who enjoys having many contact points, taking responsibility, and working in a dynamic environment where structure, communication, and medical competence go hand in hand. You will have a central role in the operations and be a vital link between surgeons, the reception, and the operating unit to create efficient patient flows and well-functioning surgical scheduling.

About the Role

As an Operations Coordinator, you are responsible for planning and coordinating the operational activities while supporting the team with administrative matters and medical advice within the gynecological department.

The role involves an approximate split of 50 percent surgical planning and coordination, and 50 percent administrative and clinical work. This gives you a varied daily routine where you combine planning and coordination of surgical activities with administrative tasks, patient contact, and clinical work within the department.

You will become an important part of the daily work and are expected to contribute with both structure, initiative, and a development mindset. The role involves significant independent responsibility and suits you who like to drive issues forward, create order in complex situations, and work in a solution-oriented manner.

You will also be involved in developing and shaping the role over time. We are therefore looking for you who see opportunities, identify areas for improvement, and want to contribute to the continued development of the business.

Your Responsibilities

  • Surgical planning and coordination
  • Communication and coordination between surgeons, reception, and the operating unit
  • Administrative tasks related to the operations
  • Medical advice and patient contact
  • Support in the daily work within the gynecological department
  • Follow-up, statistics, and work with figures/data
  • Ensuring efficient patient flows and high quality in operations
  • Drive and develop administrative and operational processes

We are looking for you who

  • Are a licensed nurse
  • Have experience in coordination, planning, or administrative tasks within healthcare
  • Are confident in your professional role and can work independently
  • Are structured, organized, and have excellent administrative skills
  • Enjoy responsibility and thrive in a coordinating role
  • Are flexible and solution-oriented
  • Are good at prioritizing and creating structure even at a high pace
  • Have an analytical mindset and enjoy "putting the puzzle together" to find smart solutions
  • Are communicative and find it easy to collaborate with different professions
  • Speak and write Swedish and have good knowledge of English

Meritorious Experience

  • Experience from gynecological operations
  • Experience in surgical planning or surgical coordination
  • Experience with patient flows within specialist care or surgical operations
