Information about the workplace
Östra Vårdcentral has 10,000 registered patients. The health center is located in Löwenströmska Hospital. We offer primary care services every weekday from 8:00 to 17:00. We have a relatively large proportion of elderly patients who have lived in Upplands Väsby for many years, as well as younger and newly arrived residents. We have a well-functioning home care team.
We strive to work in teams consisting of doctors, district nurses, registered nurses, assistant nurses, psychologists, and psychotherapists to create good continuity for our patients. We use IP telephony, chat via Praktikertjänst, and the medical record system TakeCare.

Job Responsibilities
Our ambition is to provide high-quality medical care with a focus on patient safety and quality.
We are currently developing our operations and are looking for a Diabetes Nurse/District Nurse.
Qualifications
The role will involve outpatient clinic work. It entails all typical duties for a district nurse/registered nurse at a health center. The position requires broad competence, planning skills, and independence.
Preferred qualifications:
- Specialist education in diabetes care or District Nurse with prescribing rights
- Experience working in primary care is advantageous
- Good computer skills and experience with the TakeCare medical record system and telephone advice are advantageous

Other Information
Temporary position. Full-time 100%. Good opportunities for extension. Working hours Monday–Friday. Start date by agreement.
