Do you want to be part of Sweden's largest infrastructure project? We are now looking for a Project Manager for the Vagnhärad project in the Ostlänken railway.

Ostlänken is a 16-mile double-track railway between Södertälje and Linköping. You will work in the Vagnhärad project, which runs from the southern parts of Södertälje Municipality through the entire Trosa Municipality down to Sillekrog.

The role involves having overall responsibility for production in the contract and leading a group of production project managers within various technical disciplines such as bridges, tunnels, civil structures, ground improvement, etc. This means being responsible for the overall management and monitoring of production, time, and cost frameworks, as well as meeting quality, environmental, health and safety requirements. You will also work to some extent with design.

The production project managers you lead are responsible for supervising construction managers within their respective technical disciplines. Your responsibility is to support and coordinate between different technical areas and take overall responsibility for production and progress reporting.

You will be managed by the Production Project Manager who is already located at the Vagnhärad project site and who has overall responsibility for production from a broader perspective, including the connection to the project's overall schedule, procurement, cost estimates, etc.

The location is Södertälje. Travel occurs regularly, mostly within the section and sometimes to Ostlänken's other offices (Nyköping, Norrköping, Linköping, and Stockholm).

• Collaborate with the contractor to develop new innovative solutions.
• Help the contractor solve the various challenges that may arise during the implementation of these solutions.
• Coordinate, inform, and collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to achieve the goals set by the project.
• Contribute to the monitoring of various activities, both economically and regarding time and quality.
• Act as the client's project manager for design and production regarding geotechnical issues.
• Direct the implementation of geotechnics in Vagnhärad against budget, schedule, and content.
• Report to the overall responsible person.
• Monitor that authority permits, building permits, and similar are applied for and obtained.
• Be responsible for technical monitoring, inspections, and final reports with relation documents, as well as good coordination with other technical areas.
• Participate in internal and external meetings.
• Monitor the contractor's procurement of subcontractors.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a university or college degree of at least 180 hp (120p) with a technical focus, or other education and experience that we assess as equivalent.
• Has worked as a project manager or leading site manager in a large construction project for at least 8 years.
• Has experience leading other project managers.
• Has good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing.
• Has a driver's license for passenger cars.

It is meritorious if you:

• Have worked in a leading position within railway projects.
• Have worked in collaborative contracts (samverkansentreprenad).
• Have worked in turnkey contracts (totalentreprenader).
• Have worked within any of the technical areas: rock tunnels, civil structures, ground, railway, or road.
